The California Board of Parole Hearings agreed under Proposition 9 to move up parole suitability reviews for Erik and Lyle Menendez from August 2028 to early 2027. Lyle's hearing is tentatively set for February 23, 2027, with Erik's following on February 24.

Lyle and Erik Menendez have had their next parole hearings tentatively scheduled for February 23 and February 24, 2027, respectively. The advanced hearings were granted by the California Board of Parole under provisions of Proposition 9.

Erik and Lyle Menendez were granted an early parole suitability hearing tentatively scheduled for March 2027. They were previously not eligible to seek a hearing until August 2028.
