Terms of Use

Last updated 21 September 2026. These are the rules for using CrimeTimeSnacks and, if you make one, for your account.

CrimeTimeSnacks is a true crime podcast and the site that carries it. Episodes and posts are researched from public records, court filings and published reporting, and every claim on an episode's fact list is checked against that episode's own research before it goes out.

It is journalism and commentary. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for the official record. If you are acting on something you read here, read the source.

Everyone is innocent until a court says otherwise, and this site is written that way. An arrest is not a conviction, a charge is not a finding, and a theory is not a fact. Where a case is open, we say so.

If you believe something here is wrong, tell us at crimetimesnacks@gmail.com. Corrections are published, not quietly edited away.

• You need to be 13 or older to create an account.
• One account per person. Do not use a handle that impersonates another person, a public figure, a victim, a member of their family, or this show.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share your sign-in.
• We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.

If you write anything on this site, it has to clear the same bar the show does:

• Do not accuse a named person of a crime they have not been convicted of.
• Do not post anyone's private information: address, phone number, workplace, or anything else that could be used to find them. That includes suspects and their families.
• Do not harass anyone, and do not post material about victims that exists only to shock.
• Do not post anything you do not have the right to post.

Anything you write stays yours. By posting it here you give us permission to display it on the site and in the show's own channels. You can delete it, and deleting your account deletes it.

We remove content that breaks these rules, and we do not have to explain every removal in advance.

The episodes, the writing, the artwork and the site itself belong to CrimeTimeSnacks. Quote us, link to us, and cite us. Do not republish an episode or a post wholesale as your own.

The site is provided as it is. We work hard to be accurate and we correct what we get wrong, but we do not warrant that everything here is free of error, and we are not liable for what you do with it.
